Backup and disaster recovery
Your Microsoft 365 data is copied somewhere a compromised admin account cannot reach, and we restore from it on a schedule so you know it works.
What is backed up
Independent backup of your Microsoft 365 data: mailboxes, SharePoint sites, OneDrive and Teams. The copy is held outside your tenant, so an attacker or a mistaken deletion inside the tenant cannot remove it as well.
Restore tests, on the record
A backup is only useful if it restores. We run restore tests on a schedule, and the date and result of the latest one is kept in your documentation register, which you can ask to see at any time.
Recovering from a bad day
- A deleted folder or overwritten file: restored from the independent backup.
- A lost or stolen laptop: wiped remotely through Intune. A replacement ships to the staff member and sets itself up with Windows Autopilot.
- A compromised account: the 24/7 SOC triages the alert and our engineers lock things down. Mail and files are restored from backup if anything was damaged.
Because the setup is cloud-based and documented, getting someone working again is mostly a matter of steps we have already written down.
